本記事では、サンプルから量産までの標準的な流れと、初回お問い合わせ時に共有いただくとスムーズな資料を整理しました。

1. サンプルから量産までの標準フロー（概要）

私たちは、品質基準と合意事項を明確にしながら、段階的に確度を高めていきます。

Step 1｜初回ヒアリング（要件整理）

• アイテム概要、狙う仕上がり、希望価格帯（加工賃レンジ）

• 目標納期／ローンチスケジュール

• 生地支給（CMT）か、一部資材調達（OEM）か

Step 2｜試作（サンプル）〜仕様確定

• 仕様書・パターンを基に縫製検証

• 付属・芯地・縫製方法の最適化

• ラグジュアリー基準の見え方（表情・落ち感・縫い目）を詰める

Step 3｜量産前サンプル（Pre-Production Sample）

• 量産と同条件で再現できる状態に整える

• 寸法・仕様・付属・検品基準を最終確認

Step 4｜サイズセット（必要な場合）

• サイズ展開が多い場合、サイズ別に最終チェック

• グレーディング後の見え方と着用感の確認

Step 5｜量産（Bulk Production）

• 工程設計（ラインバランス／重点検査点）

• 量産中の品質のブレを抑える運用（ポイント検品）

Step 6｜最終検品〜出荷

• 外観、仕様、付属、汚れ、縫製品質の確認

• 検針等の安全工程

• 梱包仕様に合わせて納品形態を整える

2. 初回お問い合わせで「あると速い」資料（ラグジュアリー向け）

初回段階で情報が揃っているほど、見積の精度と試作の最短化が可能になります。

(1) 仕様書（Tech Pack / Sewing Specification）

最低限、下記が分かると理想です。

• デザイン画（フロント／バック）

• 縫製仕様（ステッチ種類、縫い代、始末、袋布、見返しなど）

• 付属指示（ボタン、ファスナー、芯地、テープ、裏地等）

• 仕上げ（プレス、形状保持、洗い加工有無）

• ラベル／ブランドネーム／洗濯表示の仕様

(2) パターンデータ（推奨：DXF）

• DXFがあると、検証と量産移行がスムーズです

• 可能なら縫い代情報、ノッチ、合印、地の目、芯貼り指示も

(3) サイズスペック（Spec Sheet）

• サイズ別の仕上がり寸法

• どの寸法が「絶対基準」か（例：バスト＞着丈＞袖丈など優先順位）

(4) 生地情報（Fabric Details）

• 素材混率、目付、規格幅、組織、ロット予定

• 表面の特徴（毛羽、光沢、落ち感、滑り）

• 縮率、斜行、伸度（特にストレッチや薄地） ※ラグジュアリー素材ほど、工程設計で仕上がりが変わるため重要です。

(5) 付属・芯地の指定（Trims / Interlinings）

• 指定ブランドや品番がある場合は共有ください

• 「同等品質で国内調達可」かどうかも判断できます

(6) 参考サンプル（現物）または高解像度写真

• “求める雰囲気”の共有が最短です

• 写真の場合は、縫い目、裏側、端処理、付属取り付け部のアップが有効

(7) 数量計画（Qty Plan）

• 予定総数、サイズ別／色別内訳

• 追加生産（リピート）可能性

• 小ロット／分納の希望有無

(8) 希望納期とローンチ日程

• 必要なら逆算し、サンプル回数・仕様確定の締切も提案可能です

(9) 品質基準・検品基準（Luxury Standard）

• AQL（合格限界品質）や社内基準、重点項目（表地キズ、パッカリング、縫い目の見え方等）

• 寸法許容（素材特性で動く箇所の扱いも含む）

• 梱包・下札・ラベル位置などの納品要件

3. ラグジュアリーブランド様で“失敗が起きやすいポイント”

高級品ほど、わずかな差が重要です。事前にここを詰めると不良品が激減します。

• 素材特性による寸法変動（ニット／薄地／バイアス／洗い加工）

• 芯地・接着の選定（剥離・アタリ・硬さ）

• 縫い目の表情（ステッチ幅、運針、糸番手、テンション）

• プレスの設計（立体感、エッジ、シワ、テカリ）

• 付属の供給条件（最低ロット、色ブレ、納期）

From Sampling to Bulk Production: What to Prepare for Your First Inquiry — Forever Co., Ltd. (Gifu, Japan)

Hello from Gifu, Japan. This is Forever Co., Ltd., a Japanese sewing factory specializing in premium and luxury apparel.

In luxury manufacturing, it is not enough to create a single beautiful sample. The most critical factors are Repeatability and Consistency of quality throughout production.

In this article, we outline our standard workflow from sampling to bulk production, along with a list of information that will help smooth the process of your initial inquiry.

1. Standard Workflow: From Sample to Bulk

We proceed in stages, clarifying quality standards and agreements at each step to ensure precision.

• Step 1 | Initial Consultation (Requirement Definition)

  • Item overview, target finish, target price range (Cut & Make cost).

  • Target delivery date / Launch schedule.

  • Production type: CMT (Cut, Make, Trim – fully supplied) or OEM (Partial sourcing support).

• Step 2 | Prototyping & Spec Finalization

  • Sewing verification based on the Tech Pack and patterns.

  • Optimization of trims, interlining, and sewing methods.

  • Refining the “Luxury Standard” look (nuance, drape, stitch appearance).

• Step 3 | Pre-Production Sample (PPS)

  • Creating a sample under the exact conditions as bulk production.

  • Final confirmation of measurements, specs, trims, and inspection standards.

• Step 4 | Size Set (If required)

  • Final check for each size if there are many SKUs.

  • Confirming the silhouette and fit after grading.

• Step 5 | Bulk Production

  • Process engineering (Line balancing / Critical inspection points).

  • Operations to minimize quality variation during mass production (In-line inspection).

• Step 6 | Final QC & Shipment

  • Inspection of appearance, specs, trims, soil, and sewing quality.

  • Safety processes such as Needle Detection.

  • Packing according to your specifications.

2. Documents for a Faster Start (For Luxury Clients)

The more information available at the initial stage, the more accurate our quotation and the faster the sampling process will be.

(1) Tech Pack / Sewing Specification At a minimum, the following are ideal:

• Sketches (Front / Back)

• Sewing specs (Stitch type, seam allowance, finishing, pocket bags, facings, etc.)

• Bill of Materials (BOM): Buttons, Zippers, Interlining, Tapes, Linings.

• Finishing (Pressing, shape retention, wash processing).

• Labels / Brand Name / Care Label placement.

(2) Pattern Data (Recommended: DXF) DXF data allows for smoother verification and transition to bulk.

• Ideally includes seam allowances, notches, grain lines, and fusing instructions.

(3) Size Spec Sheet

• Finished dimensions per size.

• Points of Measure (POM) and tolerances (e.g., Priority: Bust > Length > Sleeve).

(4) Fabric Details

• Composition, Weight, Cuttable Width, Construction, Lot plan.

• Surface characteristics (Nap, sheen, drape, slippage).

• Shrinkage, Skew, Elongation (Especially for stretch or thin fabrics).

  • Note: Crucial for luxury fabrics as this affects process engineering.

(5) Trims & Interlinings

• Please share if there are nominated brands or article numbers.

• We can also advise if “equivalent Japanese quality” can be sourced locally.

(6) Reference Sample (Physical) or High-Res Photos

• Sharing the “desired vibe” physically is the fastest method.

• If using photos, close-ups of stitching, inside construction, edge finishing, and trim attachment are effective.

(7) Quantity Plan (Qty Plan)

• Total estimated quantity, breakdown by Color/Size.

• Potential for repeat orders.

• Small lot needs / Split shipment requests.

(8) Schedule

• Target Delivery Date (Ex-Factory) and Launch Date.

• We can propose a timeline working backward from these dates.

(9) Quality Control (QC) Standards

• AQL (Acceptable Quality Level), internal standards, focus points (e.g., fabric flaws, puckering, stitch visibility).

• Dimensional tolerances (including handling of unstable materials).

• Packing, tagging, and label requirements.

3. Critical Checkpoints to Avoid Defects in Luxury

In high-end products, slight differences matter. addressing these points in advance drastically reduces defect rates.

• Dimensional Stability: Managing changes due to fabric properties (Knits / Thin fabrics / Bias cuts / Washing).

• Interlining Selection: Preventing bubbling (delamination), strike-through, or stiffness.

• Stitch Expression: Stitch width, SPI (Stitches Per Inch), thread count, and tension.

• Pressing: Creating 3D form, sharp edges, avoiding shine marks or wrinkles.

• Supply Chain: Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), color consistency, and lead times for trims.
